Ok, now that we all know that Bob is retiring (which saddens me deeply) at the end of this season, tell me who you would like to see as his replacement?

I honestly think no one should take his place. No one could ever replace him. It wouldn't be the same without him. Maybe they should just retire the show as well. I would hate to see some goofus take over and ruin what a good thing Bob Barker had made of that show.

After being the host for 35 years, I think CBS is going to have a tough time finding anyone to replace him, and keep their ratings anywhere near what they are now. I know I'll have a hard time watching the show, even if they manage to find a good host. I've thought about who it should be, and I haven't been able to come up with anyone. Maybe they should just show reruns, especially those from the 70s and 80s. They would be hysterical to watch.

I'd love it if Richard Dawson could (old Family Fued host) but since that can't happen, I'll choose Drew Carey. Let's all face it they won't retire the show because Bob doesn't want that and if you've ever worked in a nursing home/hospital or been near one at 11:00am every elderly person has the channel on "The Price is Right"

Todd Newton. He is handsome has an easygoing personality and I just checked on wikipedia that he has hosted The Price is Right like for shows on hotels. He is the Right Host for the Price is Right. I saw him outside the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas and he was taping a segment for a show, I ask him if I can take his picture and he hugged me and everything. Nice, nice guy. Good on the eyes too.

the male names ahead of me - well, they're too old. I'm referring to Regin & Richard Dawson.
Ellen has her own show and so does Bob Saget. Drew ? maybe. What about Wayne Brady?
Or, it could be Ricki Lake.

My kids asked me this a couple of days ago, and honestly, I told them that the show was over as far as I was concerned. I can't think of a soul who could possibly do the show after him. Rikki Lake did a good job when she did gameshow marathon, but long term........no way.
