If your doing an art project in Brixton you gotta include the windmill!

That church which they have converted the basement into a nightclub could also be interesting for an art project.
Its also known for prison and the riots of the 80's.
But the first things I would think of about Brixton is great nights out at Brixton Academy, getting 'hassled' in Mcdonalds, Wetherspoons and bus stops. Plus going to a really nice pub which feel quite like homely (the one just pass the station if your walking from the highstreet, sorry cant remember the name of it!) and quite a few trendy but nice bars.

It's an area in London. It has some great clubs and Bars and an awesome music venue - Brixton Academy - but it is not the kind of place you walk around alone at night.
