don't stress, that's what college is for. well it's for figuring out what you're gonna do. I don't know what i'm gonna be when i grow up. i have ideas, but they change all the time! just do stuff you like now, and when the time comes, you'll know.

Well it does help you if you know by the time you're 15, but if you don't then don't worry ^_^
If you really like your scrap booking and that then why not look into becoming an art student? Or something where you can teach other people to do certain art things. ( Like my Mom she does online scarp booking and sells her stuff online ^_^ )
You could also like open up your own craft store ^_^ And have art teaching classes there! =D
Me I love Dogs/Animals, so I put those together and what do I get? A Vet, yup that's what I'm going to be ^_^
But if for what ever reason I cannot become a Vet I can be anything else that involves dogs/animals. Like a dog groomer, or a Vet tech, or heck even someone who just rescues animals.
So take the things you like to do most and then you can figure out what you want to do when you grow up! ^_^
Good luck =D
P.S I'm also 15 and just recently figured out what I wanted to be. And yet my Bro knew when he was 12 what he wanted to do. It takes some people a bit longer than others on what they want to do when they're older ^_^

No, you are not supposed to know what you want to be when you grow up at the age of 15. For example, since the age of five I wanted to be a doctor because I like to help others, then in my sophomore year in high school I wanted to be a geologist since I love earth science, and finally I have decided to major in psychology when I enroll in college...[sigh] watch me change my major a couple of times.
From what you said about how you are creative and like decorating...i think maybe you could be an interior decorator or architect.
Don't worry you will come up with something that you will enjoy and do well at. =]

No you don't really have to know when you're 15, but you should have an idea of what areas you're really comfortable in. I'm 16, and last year I had no clue what I wanted to be. But I've come to realize that I love music and I love being in charge... Why not major in business and minor in music! Now, in your case, you sound like a creative artsy person. Advertising and designing sounds good.

nope! Some people go to college and change their majors 5 times. Give it time, and keep finding things you really enjoy. Sounds like you are into artsy stuff... so maybe an art college? You still have a couple of years, don't stress! Also- I know in my high school (about 7 yrs ago), we did something that had to do with careers- it was a test thing, to see what areas we were interested in, and it told us a few jobs in those areas we were interested in... pretty cool...so maybe talk to your guidance counselor, and see if they have anything like that for you to help you decide.
Goodluck.

No, it's not uncommon...your only 15! But I would start looking into things that you like to do...you mentioned art - graphic artist / engineer...how are you with wanting to help other people....art teacher...etc. I didn't know what I wanted to do when I graduated from High School. I got into accounting which is not what I went to college for and have done it ever since. I do have some regrets, but not many!

It isn't bad that you dont know what to be. For instance, My sister wanted to be a lawyer since she was in middle school, she worked at it. She graduated from college and now doesnt think she wants that anymore. me for instance, always wanted to be a mechanic. I still enjoy working with cars but did not find what I wanted to be until I was 20. The lesson to my story is that even if you did know what you wanted to be, you may change your mind later in life. Do things that enjoy you, explore different things, Dont settle just because you feel you need to.

How about advertising? Really, you could do something for a while then change your mind and do something. I am 31, currently a stay at home mom, use to work in Recreation and I am always saying I do not know what I want to be when I grow up!
