Well, when I was young, I was at the beach and I hadn't yet learned how to swim so I was just walking around in the water and playing. Then the tide slowly began to change and the wind picked up. Obviously, as a kid, I didn't really pay attention to things like that, but then a large wave came and hit me, I went under and was carried out about 10 ft. I felt myself struggling and trying to move my body in all directions, hoping to get up. I thought that I was going to drown, but luckily, my older cousin was there and swam out to get me. Ever since then, I've never gone into the water at the beach again and I still don't plan on going to.

yes i had a near death experience..i was down in florida right after all of the really bad hurricanes went through. we were in a pick up truck and were driving down the street looking at all the damage. in this small town where they just got the power up...a tree limb had started to fall and we were right next to it. a power line was right under it! well, the limb caught the power lines and the power lines fell on our car..it sent tons of electricity through the truck ..we couldnt touch the floors, doors, etc. only the seats. we didnt know what to do and saw our lives flash before us. most of the time when you get hit by a power line you get killed almost instantly. so im so thankful to be alive. i realized you can die any day and that you should be thankful for what you have and you should def. live everyday like its your last!
