i would like to design my on flyers can any one tell me of any software i need or free software many thanks

See the source site for My Brochure Maker.com. It will let you make and print tri-fold brochures and flyers for free.
I personally use Microsoft Publisher to make mine, but it is not a free program (but a good one!)

Forget what the others have said, adobe is the market leader in design. Go to their site http://www.adobe.com and you can download their creative suite (which includes Illustrator and Photoshop) which gives you use of them for a month absolutely free!
If you want to learn how to use them there are also loads of tutorials around the internet, which are free also. As well as the basic ones on the adobe site, a good site to try is http://pixel2life.com

You can go to openoffice.org. Download and install OpenOffice. It's basically like Microsoft Office but FREE and totally cool. You can make free PDF's off of it and it works more or less like Office anyway so if you know how to use Word you can use this software. Hope this helps!

For personal use, you can MS Word, WordPerfect, MS Publisher or OpenOffice.
For brochures and materials that you want to have professionally printed by a commercial printer, you should be using either Adobe InDesign or Quark.
