Kev, AQ and Dragon Fable are 2D. Rick, RuneScape uses Sun MicroSystem's Java, and again, AQ is not 3D.
I recommend these 2 good MMO's. They are download though.

I personally like http://www.battleon.com/ and http://www.runescape.com/. They both use flash so they can be played online.
