WHAT DO YOU THiNK ABOUT THIS POEM?????

Question

Why do I have these dreams
and flashbacks
of everything I lack
& things I wish I could take back
I rather stay awake
then suffer through the night
with the horrible images that
happen when I sleep
because there is one thing
i must keep
my sanity
Each & every day I pray
that I`ll be able
to make it through the day
All i do is lay
in bed
grasping for a breath
wishing i could be reborn
so I can take away all I`ve done
and start all over again
I lay there quietly
a million thoughts flood through my head
sometimes I wish I was dead
so all this would just come to an end
but at the same time thats one of my worst fears
I think the worst thing of all
is not being able to cry tears
I forgot the feeling or even how
Sometimes I wish I could just let it all out
but they are all inside of me
in a huge abyss of lost
thoughts,emotions,feelings
I`ve become emotionless,numb
like a cold dark bottomless pit
I yearn to feel
something
rather than
nothing.

Pretty bleak, obviously. You need to get away from your life for a while. Where you're at right now is the result of many decisions you have made over the last few years. Think of where you'd RATHER be, and form a plan. Take liddy steps towards it every day. I remember once letting myself drift down the dark roads in my mind, just to see what was there! Well, deep inside each one of us is the primal creature that knows only FEAR, and has a vulnerability that is absolutely terrifying to acknowledge. I saw that person staring at me in the mirror once - and it wasn't even me! But I knew who it was - the buried primal self. So don't go there - it's oblivion. Life is OUTSIDE yourself.

Aside from a few spelling errors and misused homynyms, it's pretty good from a technical standpoint.

Coming to emotion and purpose, I think it's amazing. It's a very open piece, it just pours emotion. Sure, it's a little dark for my tastes, and it's definitely not my style, but I can appreciate it. As a poet myself, I try to write just what I'm feeling. There are times that I can definitely relate to what you wrote.

This poem is sad. If this is how you feel- I have a solution. Invite Jesus into your life, and it will fill that empty hole. First, tell Him that you have sinned, and that you are sorry. Second, tell him that you believe Jesus died for you, and that you know if you accopt his gift of eternal life in heaven (if you are praying this that is what you are doing) you will get it. Third, tell someone you have accepted Christ as your Savior. And you are a Christian, if you do this! To learn more about God's plan for your life, read the Bible, and if possible, go to church. Jesus told us to follow him in baptism, and we should do it not because it saves us (because it doesn't), but because we want to obey Jesus, and show everyone our decision to make God the head of our life. For me a poem has to have rhythm. It does not unavoidably might desire to rhyme even with the undeniable fact that it needs to hit my thoughts. i think of readability of expression is critical as nicely. i do no longer prefer to 2nd wager what i'm examining approximately. I constantly seem for what I term "poetic gem stones"contained in the textual content cloth.
