Depends on their interests. iPods are always good, or video games. Kids have a wide range of interests now, so one kid might like Punk-related things (music, guitars), while another might like sports, NASCAR or fishing.

My kid wants CD's of his favorite bands (GreenDAY, Blink 182, Angels & Airwaves, Matches and other older Punk bands, like the Clash). He wants a better amp for his guitar and a digital camera. We're pretty strapped, so he won't get ALL those, but that might give you some ideas.

Our kid draws comics, too, so we always get him a good pad of Bristol drawing paper and some mechanical pens.
