Well I have a book that gives good answers to typical interview questions:

1. With this question just think about how you would best describe yourself in relation to what the interviwer is looking for. That is describe your desirable traits that are relevant to the job. if you decide to mention undesirable traits, remember not to mention highly undesirable traits. e.g I ahve been described as a person who easily flys off the handle. Use examples such as I have been told I chatter too much, but then add something along the lines of, despite this it does not get in the way of my work.

2. One way of answering this question is to give examples of past weaknesses and then explain how you overcame them. Alternatively if the interviewer requires your current weaknesses use examples that are easy to overcome, and explain how you plan to overcome this weakness. That is what interviewers are looking for: someone who is aware and acknowledges their weaknesses and is willing to put in effort to change them.

3. Ask the interviwer about their role in the company. E.g. Why did you join the company. Also ask about why the job vacancy arose. Ask about training. Ask about the opportunities to progress within the company. The key point to remember here is the interviewer "respects what you inspect, not what you enspect".
