Does anybody have any SERIOUS tips for recalling past lives? I'd like really to know if there's anyway that I can do it myself or have someone help me (a non-professional.) If you don't believe in the possibility of past lives, don't even bother to type an answer.

When I went through it, it seemed a great deal like hypnosis. Consequently, I would suspect that you could do it on your own if you taught yourself self-hypnosis. There are many books about how to enter a hypnotic trance. Be sure to practice regularly for several weeks entering and leaving a hypnotic trance before attempting the regression, because that requires a fairly deep level of hypnosis. When I went through it, I had a vision of having been a US Civil War soldier who died getting an arm amputated after having been wounded. It was interesting.

I went through it with a hypnotherapist , so I couldn't be able to help you with the proses , but I can tell you ,is easy and real .. the place I landed was suppose to be the farthest back . I was a Roman soldier , I found my wife cheating and killed her , court judgement followed up ,and ended hanged ..., Just be careful some of the information you find could be disconcerting and scary , you have to be prepared to accept your past as it was and it does not reflect what you are now .. Good luck.

check out Denise Linn's work. I just started reading about her myself, but she offers up some pretty interesting ideas. She's written a number of books and also has a CD set called "Journey Into Past Lives."

Also, check her out on hayhouse radio online. (www.hayhouseradio.com) She hosts a show every Monday and does a "soul journey" during segment 3 where you can actually follow along with her in a guided meditation. It's pretty cool. All of the shows are archived so you can listen to them whenever. But if you get a chance, I'd try to catch her live-- you can call in and ask questions :)

hope this helps!!

I have done this a few times, both as a therapist and as a proband. It's surprisingly untraumatic, and I often felt it didn't really go that deep. It's more like lucid dreaming. What you need is simply a hypnotherapist willing and able to perform a regression, just look through the yellowpages and make a few phone calls.

Well I totally believe in past lives. I was told more important than going into the past is to understand where we are going. How to end this birth death old age and disease. We can go into past lives (which I have ) but my process I am doing now is taking care of the past present and future. I recommend chanting the Maha Mantra or the Great mantra for deliverance. It can relieve one of all misery and suffering. If one chants properly they can escape this illusion and go to reality. We are eternal (always existed and always will. ) Its just our consciousness we have to change to be in reality. Go to http://www.stephen-knapp.com/chanting_hare_krishna.htm full details on the mantra and other parts of the site on reincarnation and universal truths.
