Someone who doesn't speed up and slow down while playing a song. Also, someone who doesn't over-play, just keeps a solid beat and puts his fancy stuff in where appropriate.....and not being too loud. Support the song and don't try to dominate it.

ability to improvise. take a riff way way out while keeping time of the basic beat in your head all the while. of course, stuff that sounds cool. flow. imagination.
