When my baby girl eats she doesn't always burp after each feeding. we try to burp her for a good 10-15 minutes. It doesn't look like it bothers her but it makes me a little nervous, should I be worried?

No, not all babies burp after feeding! Instead of putting her over your shoulder try this. Support her facing away from you with her head on your left arm, have her head higher than her feet. gently move her backwards and forwards...if theres any wind I can guarantee it will come up using this method. I used it for my babies and never had a problem with them with wind :D

As a lot of other people said, not all babies need to burp after every feed. One way to tell if your baby has wind is if they are blue around top lip and under nose, also they will probably be holding legs up close to body. If she is a little blue, you can try gripe water to help. Good Luck

Is she breastfed? If so she may not need to burp. There is no air in the breasts to make them need to burp. My breastfed babies always had small burps when they burped, but they only burped about half of the time and they didn't act like their bellies hurt at the times they didn't burp.

If she's breast fed, she may not need to burp as often. As long as you try for about 5 minutes, and she's not uncomfortable, don't fret over it. The older she is, she will be burping on her own, and sometimes it's a tiny air bubble so it doesn't sound like a normal burp.

My son was the same way... I wonder how old she is... cause around 4-5 months, we didnt' have to burp our son at all anymore... he would do it on his own when he sat up. I wouldn't worry too much- as long as she's not throwing up or anything.

My middle kid hardly ever burped. It is just the way they drink. If they do not swallow any air, they do not need to burp.

He didn't have any gas then, but now he farts up a storm!!!

If she doesn't need to burp, she doesn't need to burp.

If you're giving her the opportunity, and she doesn't seem to be experiencing any discomfort, don't worry about it.

Maybe she's just an efficient eater and doesn't swallow a ton of air while she's at it.

Don't you need to put a ring on a girls finger before they burp and fart?

you probable positioned her on a formula it fairly is formulated for gentle tummy's and facilitates with gas and fussiness . she is crying reason for her tummy is hurting so likely she has a gentle tummy like my daughter. you may attempt simlac gentle for gas and fussiness that's provided in a orange can or you may also attempt gripe water. yet i'd attempt a gentle formula for her first.
