My husband had two license plate frames personalized for his mother and grandmother. The plan was to have them open it together in front of the entire family as a mother-daughter present.
His grandma's frame said "Happiness is being a great grandma"
His mother's frame said "Happiness is being a grandma"

We told my family at Christmas. We wrapped up a pair of baby booties, with a tag that said that "the wearer of these shoes is temporarily backordered. Because June is Santa's off season, the stork has offered to fill in as the deliveryman."
We told them about my second pregnancy at Christmas, too. We sent my toddler into the kitchen for breakfast wearing an "I'm the big sister!" T-shirt. It took them a while to get that one; they thought it might have just been a hand-me-down T!

I handed the pregnancy test and instructions to my husband. We'd been trying for over a year when we finally got pregnant.
Then we called our entire family and told them.

i actually just found out im pregnant two days ago..
i took a test @ home and it obviously came out positive, so i called and asked my family to all come over and i left the test on the table (over top of a paper towel of course..lol) and just pointed to it when they came in... they were all pretty shocked but happy
my mother was so excited!

I asked my parents if they were doing anything special around April 4th. They asked why. I said, I was just wondering if you would be interested in becoming grandparents? They answerd Yes imagine that.

My wife and I snuck a hamburger bun into her parents oven. When we got them into the kitchen, we opened up the oven and said..."what is that doing in there"? Our parents said..."why is there a bun in the oven?" It took a few minutes, but after repeating "there's a bun in the oven" over and over again, they finally figured it out.
