When you have an ear worm, is the song in your voice or is it the singer's voice?

Hmm....pretty cool question. I've never really thought about it before but it's definately the singer's voice. Good lord, if it was mine i'd commit suicide before the day was done!! :D

It's usually in the singers voice unless you are doing more than one thing at a time (distracted). At that point it just becomes a thought and actually doesn't have a voice because you are hearing it in your subconcious. But if there were a voice in your head that was singing a song that got stuck there it would probably be yours. ie hearing a song in your head hours after you realized it was in there, while you were doing work and watching tv at the same time... probably your voice

Thank God it isn't my voice. I had never thought of that before, but it's the singer's voice. I have an Elton John song that someone mentioned in another post in my head, and it's definitely his voice.

I would say the singer's voice is singing the song that is in my head, and I wish it would go away now, he has been there all day.

Singer's voice. I play the song in my head exactly as it is (or as close as I can remember).

When I have a song in my head it's usualy teddy geiger and I can't say I've ever had an ear worm
