Im a member of the Labour Party in the UK and consider myslef to be left-wing. I am what is called a Social Democrat. My perfect politics are the ones that Scandinavian countries generally use.
High Tax, Universal Healthcare, Good public transport, universal education, meritocratic, democratic, progressive, universal benefits, equal/civil rights - that kind of thing

Which country are you talking about? There are no left wing parties in The USA or Western Europe. You have to go along way to find a lefty party. We are in the grip of ROBO CAPITALISM dont you get it ?

The state of Vermont just elected the first socialist Senator in the history of the U.S.!
It was wonderful. The Republican candidate (a billionaire) called him a socialist at every opportunity. Yet, he was still elected with 65% of the vote to the Republican's 32%.

I used to be, Leninist, then Trotsky's,,,,etc, but I found it being anti-Capitalist is the only way to challenge the inequality and Class war .
