There is this hot personal trainer at this gym I go to in Chicago by the name of Valerie. She flirts with me endlessly. Clearly she wants me to ask her out. I'm hesitant because she's caught in a time warp. At the gym, she wears the same 1980s outfit. A thong body suit, tights, and leg warmers. Not to mention her 80's hair band hair and her crossed eyes. Don't get me wrong, she has one heck of a body, but I hated the 80's. Should I tell her I'd be happy to take her out on a date, but only if she gets out of the 80's and ventures into the 90's?

You don't like her for who she is hot body or not. She's happy being stuck in the 80's she deserves some1 that enjoys her for who she is on the outside as well as the inside. You don't try to change some1 because you want to go out with them you go out with them because you like everything about them. I would just continue being friends with her . Then maybe you'll see past the 80's and more of the woman then you'll be ready to ask for a date if your still interested. But if the 80's really bother then just let her be her and not you.Right now you just have a hot body friend. Good Luck :)

No thats rude... she should be who she wants to be. For one thing, some workout clothes can look like a blast from the past anyway just due to the need for a headband due to sweating, and what not. Have you seen her personal wardrobe to make a clear judgement on this? If you don't like how she dresses its not okay to tell her to change for you. I'm sure someone else will come along who doesn't care and this way, shes better off

Her body isnt everything and if you are already trying to change her then you shouldnt try to date her. Maybe you could get over her look for at least one date and if you like her personality and you two connect could you possibly over look her 80's get up. If not then dont bother.
