usually after a while they get feelings for me and I dont feel the same or I get feelings for them and they dont feel the same and then it gets awkward. I mean is it really possible to just be friends with a guy? cuz it never seems to work out. I have a lot of guyfriends but it seems inevitable for it not to get awkward.

its possible to be 'just friends' with someone but you always have the risk of having feelings for one another and that risk is hard to take because you dont want to ruin a friendship that has been build up due to those feelings you have for each other. If you are a risk taker, then go for it. who knows, maybe being 'just friends' might lead to something else.

Sure its possible just supress those feelings (if you get them first) but if its him and your not attracted to him and you just want to be friends then let him no what lines to cross. If he was truley your friend to begin with then he'll understand. My best friend is a guy and he is very attractive, and he has tried the same thing with me. I just let him know that its not whats up and he understood. Were still best friends to this day (6years)..

It is absolutely possible, just as it is possible to recover from those feelings. My best friend of 5 years is a guy. We have both had feelings for one another, briefly and at different times, but we got over them and we are still the best of friends.
Another close friend of mine is male. Although he is amazing to look at and is a wonderful guy, I have never once had feelings towards him, nor has he had feelings for me.

Well, it kinda sounds like your answering your own question. I think it is possible. My best friend is a guy and he told me he has feeling for me but i have a boyfriend and i just dont see him that way... i told him that and i think a real friend would understand.

Have you ever seen "When Harry Met Sally" with Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan? Men and women CANNOT be friends. One of them always wants to screw the other one and that ruins everything. Watch the movie! It's very funny.

yes it is possible and if you have feelings for a guy let them know how you feel and tell them that if they dont feel the same about you tell them you want to stay friends

I don't think it is impossible but it is kind of hard if a guy & a girl spend the time together that close friends of the same sex do things will happen.
