Not nearly as much as I used to. Somewhere along the line, people have forgotten what the true meaning of Christmas is supposed to be all about; not so much just the birth of Jesus Christ, but the celebration of Life, and all the Good that can come out of it. Christmas has become more or less a power play; who can outspend each other on material things. Who's a Scrooge, and who isn't. It's no longer a people thing...

i an sort of looking forward to Christmas but when i was younger i hated it. When we got up we could go and open our pressies that where put on arm chairs and my chair was always the one nearest to the door so i was in the way all the time. The next thing was we had to run up and down the stairs to show our dad as he was a lazy B. He insisted that we have our lunch before the Queens speech which we had to listen to no matter what. But the worst was when we went to my aunties house we felt as welcome as some thing from a shoe if you get what i mean we had stale sarnies for our tea. Well i suppose it was better than nothing. By the way this is the truth i don't lie

I do look forward to Christmas because of the children, and the atmosphere and x-mass carols, Christmas tree. Would be quite happily without the presents.
If you make it the way you like it, and not according to what other people expect you to do, you'll definitely enjoy the season.

Yes I am , and I don't care about the stores and what's on TV , I have Christmas in my heart and if people are tired now , just wait til 10years from now. it will not get any better . I love anytime of the year where people are happy all the time. and I attend church every Sunday so bring It on . maybe If I was broke I would not enjoy it. I think if people stop focusing on buying and enjoy the season they will enjoy it more.

yes i am. it seems to bring with it a special peace. even in wartorn countries they seem to be able to stop fighting for a few hours and celebrate the season.
i love the spirit of Christmas. people are kinder and have more patience with others. they seem more willing to share their time. they smile more readily at strangers, than they do at other times of the year.
people ask me if i 'believe'. yes i do, and i celebrate, in my own way, the birth of Christ. i don't go to church, i don't believe i have to be in a church to say a quick prayer to Him. i can do that out in the woods, or at the lake, or in the middle of town.
i also believe in santa. his spirit lives on all and it touches your heart whether you want it to or not.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
