Why don't I see the security lock for the browser?

I found the security lock symbol now. It is in a different location than what I was used to seeing it - top of the screen now instead of the bottom of the screen. Thanks for your help.

The Website may not be protected.

You're probably not in secure (encrypted) mode.

This is okay for normal browsing.

However, if you're exchanging sensitive (personal) information such as passwords and credit card info, you should see the key. If not, then the site is not secure and you should avoid it.
