Okay.. so i need some info on how to turn down the idle on my 1987 s10.. Its a four cylinder.. and when i turn it on it revs to a high idle and after about 2 mintues it finally goes to a normal idle.i have all the tools but i have no idea what to adjust... Any help?

The Idle is controlled by the computer. It sounds like the IAC ( Idle Air Control Valve) on the Throttle body is dirty.
It has 4 wires going to it and it screws into the side of the Throttle body.
It has a hex on it that is about 1 1/4 inches ( big)
Remove it, clean it with carb/choke cleaner and reasssembe
