Are there any doctors who will perform a castration procedure simply for nullification reasons without a sex change desire?
I have tried to ask around but it seems that they require at least a year of therapy and a desire to have a sex change. I am ok with the therapy but when I explain my desire is simply to have my testes removed and not to take female hormones or move towards a sex change they tell me that is an issue I have to discuss in therapy and that no doctor will do the procedure. I am twenty five and have desired this for sometime now but I want to do it safely? Only serious answers please

why? I feel very tormented by my sexuality both physically and mentally. I am not with anyone and probably never will be so I feel I would like the torment to go away and that I will be better without it

Like the rest I would suggest counseling. You should explore the reason why you wish to have this procedure. It seems like you don't mind being male but you don't want the baby making stuff. Do you wish to be celibate or something? I am sorry but because I am not a professional I can not answer this completely. I highly recommend counseling. maybe the counselor can recommend a reputable doctor for you, if you still desire to have the procedure in the coming year of therapy. Good luck and I hope this is not a problem that will prompt you to seek unhealthy ways to remedy the situation.

Well, wait a minute- do you want a full castration, or just a removal of your testicles? That's not really clear in your question.
I understand why doctors would be hesitant to do this; what if later you decide you were in an unhealthy psychological state and you sue them for not knowing and stopping you? Not to mention that doctors take a Hippocratic Oath to not do harm, and if they feel you aren't in a right state of mind and that this will do harm to you, then they won't do it. As simple as that.
I don't have any problem with you doing this; it sounds like something you've thought out and are willing to live with. Unfortunately, the rest of the world is probably going to have some problem with it. I really don't know what you would do, except possibly go to a private plastic surgeon for a consultation and see what they tell you. It will be tremendously expensive, I assume, but you might be able to get someone who is willing. It still may be that no one will do it, and for that I'm sorry.
Just don't go to any hacks who are cheap and discreet but aren't certified and for heavens sake, don't try to do it yourself, okay?

UUUUhhh, don't hold your breath waiting. I can't imagine any reputable surgical team being willing to perform an elective castration that's NOT associated with gender-reassignment surgery.....and it's definitely not the sort of procedure that you want a do-it-yourselfer to try!
Don't know your particular dynamics-----why you're not liking/ not comfortable with the "factory equipment"----but think this is something you definitely should explore with a therapist, in terms of "why". You're talking MAJOR body modification, here..... It may be right for you, I dunno, but a neutral outside professional opinion is good to get.
If it's a matter of trying to "pass" because you're liking to crossdress (just taking a wild guess here), a "gaff" can hide quite a bit. Matter of fact, I've seen crossdressers (not transsexuals) *** in corsets and heels*** that make me look like an unmade bed....and I'm a genetic female!

If you were a trangendered person and wanted to have parts removed (no matter your sex), you'd require at least two years of counseling. Standard procedure.
The surgery you wish is permanent. There is no changing your mind back, later.
Consider the counseling.
If you just wish to have a cessation of sexual desire, then consider chemical alternatives. They are less permanent and you are more likely to get a doctor to agree.

First of all, I am sorry you feel this way. Please seek some counseling.
Whatever it is making you feel this way--it's really not your fault. But I don't think you want the ramifications of such a drastic change...
Besides, you are still young, honey. You might think differently when you're a bit older--I'm into the celibacy thing too--but it may be a phase--people change, you'll probably change too.
So please, go talk to a therapist as soon as you can. I hope you can find some help and stop hating yourself.

Why do you just want your testes removed anyway? Seems strange to me.
