Aside from the obvious fact of being late, you are in the wrong job if you cannot speak to your boss - if YOU are not the boss! - about making up the time later in the day. If you are good at your job, this should not be a big problem. But speak to someone soon or your job will be gone, and any reference you want for another job will be badly affected. Communication can be a marvellous thing and can solve many "problems" that otherwise can be terminal -try it!

Well it would seem that you are not losing this job so maybe you are the bosses mistress and he runs a cover story for you. If this was in the depression section I would say you are severely depressed and will lose your job.
