If I live in California what time Saturday night will I have to go out to watch the shower?

The peak activity is November 17, but you have to look after Leo rises, which is about 11:00 PM. The higher in the sky Leo is, the more meteors you should see, so the best time is probably just before dawn on Saturday morning, November 18.

Best time will be after 2 am, Pacific Standard time, until sunrise.
Look to your East-North-East, for the most meteorites, but find a place where you have an unobstructed view of a large part of the sky, and stare, or focus on the ENE part of the sky,
you will see alot of em!!
