Figure out when you ovulate and have intercourse the day before and day of ovulation! Try charting your basal body temp (www.fertilityfriend.com) and/or using ovulation predictor kits. The average couple only has a 20% chance each cycle. If you don't conceive after 6 months of trying then you need to see your ob/gyn.

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

I was 38 yrs old with 2 children from a previous marriage and my 3rd with my NOW husband...I wanted another baby...against him complaining...He has 3 other children whom he's NOT allowed to see (the ex is a royal..*itch! She refuses to let him see them! cause he "started a new family" with me!) ANyway...try as hard as I could...couldn't get pregnant...went to the Parents Center website and they have an ovulation calander..you enter all your information and it gives you like 12 months of your fertile days!! I did this for 6 months...and the reward turns 3 in February!!! Good luck!!! Oh...margaritas help too!! LOL

Try all the silly old wives tales. Like, for us, after sex, I laid down with my legs in the air so the sperm wouldn't have to fight gravity! LOL :-)
The only thing is, we don't do the every other day thing while trying to conceive. We did it every day. As long as you're both healthy.
We also tried this stuff called PreSeed. It's an alternate to KY jelly. It doesn't affect the mobility of sperm like Ky does.

Just keep trying and good luck.

First DONT STRESS! It just makes trying to concieve harder. Also my sister was trying to concieve and never could she went and go a blood test and found out she had a thyroid problem.

My advice would be to go get a blood test to check yourself out first, make sure everything is in working order. Also maybe track your ovulation if you are not already. I would start eatting healthy if you arent already and takeing prenatal vitamins. Dont smoke dont drink, no caffine. I heard that women who drink non caffine tea concieve better, but who knows. lol Good luck

ok first buy some opk's, then buy a good basal body thermometer. You can chart your bbt (basal body temp) on a graph and see if and when you are ovulating. Next, you can try the cervical position and mucus methods. They can tell you when your fertile. go to http://www.babywishes.proboards76.com for info on the cervical mucus method and the cervical position method. then go to http://www.fertilityfriend.com for a free bbt chart
