By dangerous, you mean...what exactly?
Women have a higher risk of contracting HIV or other STDs from men, just because of the way we're built. When men ejaculate into us, we're basically a big recepticle for their semen. men, on the other hand, don't really get too much of our bodily fluids inside them, so their risk of getting a transmittable STD, like HIV, is lower with vaginal sex. The rectum tears very easiliy, so anal sex is riskier for men, but if it's straight vaginal sex, the risk is much lower for men than for women for contracting HIV. Women are also sometimes taken advantage of during sex, possibly because of the positions (sexual positions) that we are in, it's harder for us to escape if things turn bad. There are many reasons, but without more information, that's the best answer I can give.

I don't know that it is more dangerous for girls. But why take the chance there is allot to be said about avoiding extremes. Try looking at it this way. You are in the drivers seat so why take off your seat belt when crossing an intersection. Speed kills so drive safely. Besides the more you say "NO" the less likely it will be dangerous for you, and who knows, for men/boys as you put it.

PS. You are not dumb. Your question is most certainly a valid one.

Girls can get pregnant is the main issue as well as other diseases from early sex & multiple partners.
The guys don't have to go through the pregnancy and all the stress, hormones and changes the female body has to go through in order to have a baby (as well as the pain to give birth and after). Some guys do not have the instinct or the patience to look after a baby, they don't have that special bond.
The female body is more susceptible to various diseases that come with having sex at a young age and multiple partners.

Pregnancy, mostly, though I think male-to-female transmission of STDs is also more common than female-to-male transmission. (Course, here in the LGBT area most of the sex is male-male or girl-girl, so those issues aren't quite as relevant here.)

Plus, sex for girls often involves having something put into you, which at least seems like it'd be taking a greater risk than being the one doing the inserting.

Girls can be infected with STD's easier.
Girls can get pregnant.
It's more likely that a girl will be forced to do things she doesn't want to than a man.

Aside from pregnancy, you're slightly more succeptible to diseases because you have an "open" system.

Because the vagina is a mass of folded flesh that can tear. A man only has a shaft of muscle that hardly feels anything except for the tip.

And also: because girls like to flaunt their vaginas and select certain men to whom they "never" have sex with. Also I have been told by girls they enjoy being raped.
