This is regarding the serial killer Wayne Williams. I have three questions. Please answer them in the order given thx. 1.) What is your thoughts on this killer? 2.) If you had been on the jury for this trial would you have had any trouble convicting Williams based on evidence in the case? 3.) Why was the case reopened in 2005 and what has happened since then? If you have any web sites that you find info on please include them for reference. One of you will be kindly rewarded for your efforts! :)

1.) I thought that Wayne Williams was an especially sick individual. Its one thing to kill adults. Its totally different to murder 29 children. So many lives were taken before they had a chance to impact the world. 2.) I would not have had trouble convicting him. The evidence was clear cut. Hair fibers from his home, dog, and car were found on the victims, he had cuts on his face showing signs of struggle from his victims, and he failed the polygraph. 3.) The case was reopened because a known white supremacist who was investigated for the murders was said to have praised William's killings. Williams lawyers wanted to investigate the white supremacist (his name was Charles T. Sanders) so that maybe he would be found guilty of the crimes. He took a polygraph and passed it so the case was closed again in July of this year.

1.) He's creepy, guilty or not.
2.) Yes, the evidence is circumstancial. I honestly believe he did commit the murders, but not without a reasonable doubt.
3.) The case was reopened because the police chief believes Williams is innocent, although there was no new evidence. Since then, nothing has really happened, Wayne was denied a recent appeal and theories were created that the Ku Klux Klan was responsible, because of a conversation police recorded amongst Klan members in the 70's.

I think he was a good suspect. I don't know about being on the jury because I did not see the evidence the way they did. Some of the cases were 'administratively cleared' and not solved, perhaps they are trying to see if they can find evidence that someone else did it. I couldn't see any resolution about it being opened in 2005. I would like to know myself.

Go to courttv.com. They will have the case file. I couldn't tell you if I would have aqquited him because I haven't heard all of the evidence either way. But Court tv will have info on him and so will
www.aetv.com. (A&E). I think that there are some holes in the evidence. Check it out!!
