Does anyone know which issues cover the recent battle with Loki, Surtur and the Ragnarok which occurred, resulting in the destruction of Asgard and the apparent death of Thor, (before his hammer returned to earth and the current Civil War repercussions)?

Which issues should I get for that storyline, and are they currently available in TPB/Graphic novel form, or just as back issues? Any help is much appreciated...

I'm familiar with the "Lord of Asgard" story which immediately followed Odin's death, that's around the time I stopped reading- I'm looking specifically for the recent downfall of Asgard books.

they are in tbp novel form.

It is called thor dissasembled. It is rushed and I wish it was more drawn out, but still one of the best thor stories ever told.

That would be far to hard. After the death of Odin at the hands of Surter near issue 40, the series took a big turn. I would reccomend all of them with every fiber of my being. Starts out with Thor having to come to terms with teh death of his father and now having to assume the throne. Then he decides to take a more proactive stance with Midgard, aka Earth. He brings Asgard to Earth and spawns a new religion. This has huge global reprecussions that leads to Thor becoming more like a dictator. The best arc was set in the future where Thor is now the Ruler of the Earth having killed all rebelling super-heroes, losing an eye in the process. Dan Jurgens wrote all the arcs except the last which was written by Oeming that is far more Epic and deals greatly with Norse Mythology. This is the one you are probaly reffering to. I sont know if it has been collected yet, but it was "Thor Disassembled" in issue form.
