Should the federal goverment continue funding native americans activities?

Of course we should continue funding the native americans we need to keep them drunk so that they don't take back their land. Don't you remember them taking back alcatraz island?

No. It is not the federal governments (read: taxpayers) job to fund native americans activities. They have had plenty of time (centuries) to either find another source of income, stick to their native way of life, or assimiliate into society. If you can't do that after a couple hundred years, too F-ing bad.

I don't feel as though the fed gov should be supporting any ethnic group but guess i'm horrible for that..We took there land..I didn;t do it,but my forefather did hundreds of years ago..notice the hundreds of years ago..If by this time they have not figured out how to rise above there own poverty then they should be left to the wolves as the have chosen to be..and this goes for any person not just native american..

NO, they've become too dependant on that money. Besides, why should we continue to pay them for things people did over a hundred years ago? I didn't take their land, or make them move to a reservation, and now, I don't get a sum of money when i turn 18, nor do i get many of the other benefits that they receive.
My ancestors came to this country in the early 20th century. Why is my tax money used for this?

yes but these so call native Americans who is just saying they are natives to open more and more casinos need to be stop i have never seen so much corruption from government than this one .they don't have a ounce of native blood in them just greedy old White men doing it to the natives all over again.

I think we should separate the native American activities first.
The casinos are one thing, other native Amer. are not so fortunate.
So therefore, each tribe should be addressed accordingly.

Yes, there land was stripped form them. They owned the entire country before the english came.
