all i can find is tarea, but that means homework, or can it mean house hold chores to?

There is no word for Chores but tarea means tasks not homework.

If you need to say say chores just say the synonym for it (tasks)

Chores was a saying in English then was adapted into the vocab. As is "Que Aseres" in Spanish but, hasn't been adapted into the Spanish dictionary. Salud!
