Absolutely. You need to prove that you can control your temper. If you hit your wife you will probably hit your son, at least statistically.

Yes, once you hit a woman or a child, you have crossed the line and I think that you should most definately be supervised when you are with your son. What's next, you hitting him? Take a lesson from this and control your temper!

Yes!
although you may think to be a biased answer, it is for everyones safety.
You may not mean to, but in a heated argument, during a pick up or drop off of the child, you can hurt or accidental kill him.
Accidents happen...
Trust me I know more then I can say about this issue.
Also, for your sake, because authorities know you've hit her, if she claims you hit your son, you have no proof otherwise without a neutral witness.
Agree to supervised visits, agree to "counselling' or anger management. It sucks, yes, but your son will one day appreciate it. He may one day need your guidance and support on this issue.
And, he & you can be proud one day of your achievements at bettering yourself,..FOR YOURSELF !(and your son)
Things will work out,
remeber the point of the visit is for yu and your son, NOT you and your wife.

It means you've got a serious anger management issue, so yes. It's not whether you've ever hit your son, it's that there's legitimate concerns about your ability to control your actions when you're angry. If you could hit your wife, you could hit anyone.
My suggestion is that you find an anger management program and create a track-record that merits reevaluation of your emotional control. Maybe then you'll be able to have unsupervised visits with your son.

From what you asked in your other questions and the other peoples questions that you answered I would say that you should have a restraining order put on you and or in jail.
You have a serious anger management control problem and or you are just plain crazy. I think you will be luck if you even get to see your son IF he is even your son.

i believe that you have an issue with dv even if it was 2 times that you hit your wife. you may want to seek some help, and supervised visits are a necessary action at this point.

Yes, Speaking from experience my ex hit me and I divorced him then he had visitation with our children and he ended up hitting them out of anger. You need to be supervised so you don't do the same thing to your child.

did you ever think that it was possible for you to hit your wife?
probably not, but you did. now you think you'd never hit your son...
it's a pattern in your behavior, it'll repeat itself. get the help you need, show your ex- wife you are willing to change, otherwise i see no way she'll let you near your son without supervision. i wouldn't.

Yes. If you hit a woman .... which is someone thats weaker than you... you will probably hit your kid too one day.. So go ahead and puff your chest out and say, " OH you people just shut up, I would never hit my son.. I love him," Well you hit your wife and you loved her right? Now what? You get what you deserve; remember what goes around comes around. I wish that you wouldnt even get to see your son, jerk.
