I have been on the birth control pill ortho tri-cyclen for over a year now. I was getting low so I called Planned Parenthood to get new pills and went there the next day. The receptionist told me that the pills would be sent out in the mail on Monday and my supply ran out on Sunday. I had my period that weekend and during my period my fiance and I had sex and he ejaculated in me. Then I didn't take my pills until wednesday when they got here but i took all three of them i had missed. I have been taking them as usual for the last three weeks and this week i am supposed to get my period and I have not gotten it yet. I have been stressed the past few days but I am still worried that I could be pregnant. What do you think?

Ortho tricyclen is notorious for failing - and the odds go up even worse if you're not taking them correctly. Ask your doc or PP to do a blood pregnancy test. Urine tests can come up false positive when you're on the pill.

Chances are you are not pregnant. Your period is probably late because you skipped the pills and took them all at once, that can throw off your system. Also in the slim chance that you are pregnant, the pill will most likely make you miscarry. If you are really worried about it take a pregnancy test and find out for sure.

OMG. Why do people keep asking this same, dumbass question on here?

GO BUY A HOME TEST OR GO TO THE F-ING DOCTOR. If you're this dumb, you shouldn't be having children in the first place.

No one here knows or cares if you are pregnant. NEXT TIME FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS AND USE A BACK UP FORM OF BC UNTIL YOU ARE SQUARE ON THE PILLS. THE DIRECTIONS ARE THERE FOR A REASON.

If there is a chance, go to the pharmacy, pick up a home pregnancy kit for around $9 and find out. There should be 2 in the pack.

You should know, there is till a chance for pregnancy even if you are on the pill. The chances may be slim but it happens.

That's how my first child was conceived too... Missed 2 pills at the end of the cycle and I waited a few days before getting a refill.

Yes their is always a possibility & since you did miss a few pills even though you "caught up" your chances are much higher, you will have to wait till your next cycle & test!

i would say your not pregnant also HIGH doses of birth control 3 pills at once can cause a early miscarriage the morning after pill is a high dose of birth control i don't think you should have not taken 3 at once seems like it would cause hormone issues. i don't know thou i would never take 3 at once maybe someone told you it was okay.

Probably not, I mean there is a chance, but its really low.. Plus you aren't ovulating till 14 days after your period... You had unprotected sex during your period. Don't worry, chances are you are ok...
