I need it for a couple of reasons:
1. She's having a baby-I'm still not sure if it's a boy or a girl yet though.
2. It's almost Christmas-I'm giving it to her before our winter break.
3. I wanna thank her for all she did for me.
4. A good-bye present because it's an after-school class and the last day for us with her is a day before winter break.
So if you guys could combine all these reasons into a single present, that would be awesome. Nothing expensive though.Thx!!

Get her a basket of lotions and bath stuff. Mommies love relaxing in the tub after their little ones are born and it wouldn't be too expensive. Maybe throw in a little outfit for her baby. Get one that looks like it could be for a boy or a girl. Maybe a striped outfit that's green or yellow so it's for a boy or girl.

That's sweet of you to think so much of her. Try gift certificates to restaraunts or Bath and Body Works. New mommies need "me" time. You could even get her a card and buy or make her a picture frame for her new baby's pics. Candles are usually pretty good gifts too.
If you don't plan on seeing her again, write her a little note in the card to tell her how much you appreciate her. Teachers always love that.

Ask her if she registered anywhere for the baby. If you can't afford to shop there than you can get a good idea on what she needs or would like. You can do a mommy/baby gift basket ( you can do this pretty inexpensively). I think that this is great that you're doing this!!!

I would say if you are having a hard time choosing and want something for baby on board.. a gift card at babys r us.. or something of that nature..

you could make it about her.. and go for a candles n oils with a nice face treatment kit, some bath salts/foamers. etc in a nice basket, with some ghiradhelli (sp) chocolates.

My mom is a teacher. She gets a wide variety of things from her students. Some of the best things are gift certificates to restaurants (like Applebees or Olive Garden). You can usually get these as low as $10. Even just a nice card with your school picture is appreciated, though!

i made my 8th grade math teacher a blanket when she was going to have a baby. i took patches of fabric that were neutral colors for genders, (like yellow) and sewed them together.
if you can't do that, i would suggest buying a blanket, because i'm taking a parenting class right now and it's very important to keep infants warm.
