Why do some people thing Diversity is a good thing?

Fact is some people like it some dont and some could careless but it seems those who like it want to shove it down our throats...

Cant you just be you and I will be me and we will leave eachother alone? you talk about the stuff you like i will talk about what i like and noone gets aparade or rally k?

Because, try as some people might, no one lives in a bubble and in order to get along amicably in life people need to understand each other to some degree.

Lack of diversity leads to insular thinking. Insular thinking leads to racism, sexism, and violence.
