I would say both PCC and Santa Monica City are good..but i attended East Los Angeles College and I liked it alot. Many people i went to school at ELAC got accepted to UCLA etc. Mount Sac should be good too. Good luck!

No one ever asks what community college you go to. It's just a cheaper stepping stone before going to a 4 year university. PCC is pretty big. Some of the JPL and NASA teach there. But it's not like it's going to help you with work or that they are better teachers. Housing outside Pasadena will be cheaper than Santa Monica. Santa Monica college I heard Anthony Hopkins teaches there.

If you mean two-year schools that do not grant degrees, from which you are expected to transfer to a university, the "best" is unquestionably Deep Springs. No other school is even in the same league. It's free, too.
