its not immoral.. society wants us to think it is because the majority of people cant accept what they dont understand. They fear people who are not like them and therefore need to villify us because we do not fit the cookie cutter standards.

The relevance of this question relates directly to legislation. In a pluralistic society such as our own, in order for something to be a law, it should have secular reasoning behind it.
They're finding more and more animals that do indeed practice homosexuality, often to the exclusion of an available opposite-sex mate.
Whatever everyone's own moral views are, it's important to realize that just because you think it's immoral doesn't give you a right to decide what I can or cannot do. Or what the government should or should not do. I think it's immoral to lie to people, but that's not illegal (except in very specific circumstances).

Nearly impossible. Most concepts of morality are too intertwined with some form of religious belief to be seperated, and the ones that aren't tend to consider homosexuality amoral (that is, neither moral nor immoral) at most.

It is immoral in a moral soceity, but then again homosexuality is a society all its own, so it is moral. If you are gay, don't worry about what the "moral" society thinks or says. The moral society has its own hardcore hang-ups like pedaphiles, spouse abusers, etc. Lots of them are in the closet and live a deceitful life (i.e., Evangilist who preach against gay marriages).

There are no gay animals, that we know of, so some would argue that it is not natural. But unnatural and immoral are two totally different things. I, personally, dont care what a person prefers to do. If you are gay then be gay and be happy. I am in no position to call homosexuality immoral or unnatural.

There is no reason besides primitive tribal superstition to consider homosexuality immoral.

Morality is based largely on the Bible.
I can state, however, that it is an evolutionary dead-end, as homosexuals cannot reproduce. That it occurs in nature is irrelevant...it is un-natural state of being as much as a calf born with six legs...

Okay, No bible.
It just doesn't make sense to me. Loving someone, yes. Having sex w/ same sex? No. Male and female were meant to fit together. The same sex don't. Unnatural. Seems deviant. Doesn't matter who you think made you. (God or other)
