A certain movie theatre sells 3 sizes of boxes of popcorn. Of all the boxes sold 40% are large, 35% are medium, and 25% are small. Of the large boxes of popcorn sold, 60% are buttered, 50% of the medium boxes are buttered; and 80% of the small boxes are buttered. Someone goes to the counter and buys a box of buttered popcorn.

17.5% are medium buttered
20% are small buttered
P(buttered box is medium) = 17.5/(24 + 17.5 + 20)

.50 * .35 = .175 or 17.5% chance they ordered a medium popcorn
