about a week ago someone asked how can you talk to people in iraq.the question was answered with the normal abuse and ridicule which you come to expect from this site but i think it is a valid q. how can we contact the normal people of iraq and other war torn countries ?is there a site?are they on yahoo?or are they censored from speaking to us .

yes i understand what you are all saying but there must be some english speaking people with access to comps.they are not that all backward an d anti brits are they?

i have just came back from there after six months tour the problem apart from the lauanage is that they think all of western world is against them also they have Little assess to the Internet.

First of all i would like to mention the fact the Iraqis are amongst the most educated nations in the middle east. The majority have good command of the English language and i am sure that there are some Iraqis on this site and other sites.

You are right its a valid question....but to be honest places like Iraq...you can not even have food, how u can communicate with them....they destroyed whole Iraq.....i think we should put this question to Mr Bush.....who is responsible for all the destruction.....he promised that he will develop Iraq and Afghanistan....but we only see war war war...and now they are after Iran..and then>??????????? anyway and u cans ee whats going on Palestine...i don't know how to communicate with the,,,,in fact tell me what you want to communicate........

It sounds a great idea, but I do not think the ordinary people of iraq would be able to understand us because we talk different languages and come from different cultures. I cannot write arabic and how many of them could write english. How many of them would be able to afford computers? How many women would be allowed to talk to us if they could. Too many complications.

they can use this site but unfortunately unless you speak arabic its a bit difficult
