With all due respect you do not sound like a woman to be cast in a movie no matter what your color. Movie women (and men) are usually not the typical working mom or dad who looks average. They are loud or funny or have some terrible addiction or are being hunted by the law.
If I were you I would be glad not to be role cast into something I am not. You sound like an interesting, intelligent and thoughtful woman and that just isn't movie stuff.
Be proud of who you are and don't worry about movie images.

Well, each race has anything terrible stated approximately them however it all offers with stereotypes, generalizations and the loss of expertise of special cultures and views. Some folks feel that simply due to the fact they meet a couple of black females who suits that temper than each black girl have got to be like that after it's not real. Secondly, it has to do with the repetitious portraits that portrays black females on this mild over and over within the media like they are not able to preserve a person, loud, made up, sour, constantly having an perspective, promiscuous, and indignant. All you'll be able to do is are living your lifestyles and now not purchase into the hype of stereotypes. People are constantly going to pass judgement on you for anything all you'll be able to do is are living good and blissful.

I think so, and any way we're always getting screwed over anyway. It's like we don't have a chance. Then on top of that the media likes to shine a red light over us like we stinkin' skank whores when we are not. Then there's the stereotypes. We can't get a break. The ones that do fit the stereotypes and doing it just because they think it's cool is making us look bad, and digging the hole even deeper, it's frustrating.

It's only ignorant people who go by what stereotypes they know. Me, some people do think I'm ghetto, but I do know how to turn it on and off. Some women don't know how to control it. Yes. I do think society downplays black females.
I think no race should be put in a negative light.

Its really hard to not stereotype when so many people see and hear what they want too. People might see me as whit trash. lol I dont know why, maybe because Im just white? But Im really not. It doesnt bother me though. i think its funny. Yes Ill go to wal mart and buy clothes, so what! lol
Anyways, I wouldnt worry about the stereo types, just live your life and be friends with people who know differently... Those stereotypes, all of them are made for entertainment purposes.

I don't think that's always the case. In movies you can see the strong single black mother raaising her kids. It may be true that alot of times their in a negative light but I think producers are trying to fix that.

It's not just for black women. It's like that for everyone. Every single race and culture in the world has a stereotype behind it.

well stereotypes don't come from nowhere african american women do tend to be kinda loud and rude more than any other race or group, its just a cultural thing of whitch art imitates, It happens to everyone because in films theres a need for charactors and that happens to be a charactor in life. I gennerally find americans as a whole rude they tend to be very short with you and say things like Sir you need to fill in an i10 like I told you. Its not a predudice of mine but I do dread ringing american call centers for fear of being shouted at and I do often hear a woman with a lot of attitude and she sounds black, almost as intimidating is bald white police officers they scare the **** out of me for some reason if it was a black guy I wouldn't be as scared they seem freindlier so stereotypes have some real truth to them but of course we should treat people as individuals. If I was pulled over by a bald black female police officer I would **** myself and probably take off. I remember I was actually once and she tried to get me to pay a bribe she was very rude.

I don't think black women are put in the negative light... you shouldn't take what the movies portray so seriously. The movies are for entertainment not truth.
