I'll be honest, I'm writing a report on the effects of the lime lite on jazz musicions from the 1920's to the 1960's and i need a couple more examples of jazz gone horribly wrong. Any body know of any seriously derranged (or at least disturbed) patrons of Bebop? so far i've got Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk and Billy Holiday... Thanks.

I have too much respect for jazz musicians to spill the beans about what I know. I'm disappointed to hear your writing a paper about this. These guys went to extremes to share their art, some went to far. I think it's sad that you're concentrating on their lose.

Charlie Parker "Bird" was by far the wildest one. He was a herione addict, and the hottest player of his time. Check him out...
