The Sims 2 Open for Business
The Sims 2 Pets

Family Fun Stuff
Glamour Life Stuff
and Coming Soon Happy Holiday Stuff

The last three are just item packs.

I reccomend Pets or Nightlife. It's fun getting to have animals, but it's also nice having cars and going on dates, and stuff like that. It depends on what aspects of the game interest you most.

There are 4 expansions and 3 soon to be 4 stuff packs.

To be honest I can't just choose 1 as the best. I own them all and each has it's perks. I've found that the combination of all of them have made game play more challenging and fun.

There all the best in my opinion because they make the game sooo much better with them, the sims was so dull without them.

Theres nightlife, university, open for business, pets, and a few others that aren't really expansion packs but just clothes and objects.

i think its a toss between big buisness and nightlife. nightlife gets you cars and some really cool objects and new features. but the idea of having you own buisness and controlling how sell things and shop layouts is really great.
