Harper Lee is alive and well. She currently lives in Monroeville, Alabama but, from all accounts, is an intensely private person. She recently wrote a letter that was published in Oprah's magazine. I am not sure if Miss Lee has a publisher, as she hasn't written fiction in years. You can try to locate a publisher for her, or write to the O magazine. They may be able to forward a letter to Miss Lee.
