In the Western world you have all the opportunities you can hope for. If you REALLY, REALLY want to do something, you can.
The diversity for me is reflected in the people you bump into and start talking to. The most boring looking people can come out with stories about what they do with their lifes, which really surprise you. The most interesting conversations I have had on planes, talking to the people sitting next to you. One was doing historical plays in the summer and another one turned out to be a very rich, very down-to-earth Australian, who lived on a boat.
Endless different lifestyles running alongside so smoothly! (Well, most of the times...) Pretty amazing, don't you think?

Diversity is when everyone is trying to be and act differently by following the same fads such that most actually start to act and look the same. Wiggers are a good example.

Asia, the Middle East, most of Africa, and other parts of the world, aren't very "diverse".
