If you have a front load washer, it may be that you have a mildew problem with the boot in the front of the machine. That's a fancy term for the rubber seal in the front. Try running a load with no clothes with hot water and about a cup of bleach. Let it go through two rinses before adding your clothes. At the end of a wash cycle, wipe the boot out with a towel or leave the door open so that it can dry properly.
If you have a top load washer, try running the machine with no clothes, hot water and a cup of bleach. Then, leave the lid open at the end of the cycle. Make sure you are using chlorine bleach and not color safe stuff. If the problem persists, call a service tech out right away. As long as it is within the first year, it is under a manufacture's warranty. If the bleach cycle doesn't fix it, there is problem with the machine and you want to get it fixed before your warranty expires.

OK, I have had a washer get a little stinky, but not pee smell. Try this, run a load of old blankets or towels with some vinegar, baking soda and good detergent on the hottest cycle. Still stinky? Run again with bleach and detergent. When done, leave the lid or door open and let it completely dry out. DO NOT LEAVE laundry in the tub for any length of time, remove laundry immediately after the cycle is done! I hope this helps you! Good luck!

FYI - It is not safe to run vinegar through the washer. It breaks down the tubes and such and causes them to crack and eventually split.
If you have any animals like a cat it probably went in there. If you are finihsed a cycle leave the top open to let it dry out. Dont close it cause the "pee" smell you are interpreting could be that of mold. Or the start of mold. I would run it through hot and just with soap and or like an oxy clean. I would fill it with old towels, not bath towels but the ones that you use for things that you dont care if the towels get ruined or "pee" smell.

Run a hot cycle without any clothes, and add a cup of bleach.
That should take care of the smell, and also allowing the washer to dry -either leave the lid open or wipe it with a towel.

It sounds like you may have a kink in your drain hose that is preventing the water to drain completely from the inner tub (after the pump cuts out).
Try moving the washer away from the wall or whatever and check the hoses. If they seem okay, you may need to hook a wire down the hose to check for a clog.

Why do so many people like to use vinegar to deal with smells these days? Vinegar stinks and makes everything it touches stink too. Including the inside of washing machines.

Possibly the smell could be coming from the water supply or that combined with a particular brand of detergent. I would suggest putting a charcoal filter on the water line. Also check with your neighbors, if they have a similar problem.

Take a tip from homeless people. You can cover up the rotten pee smell by adding a bottle of scotch to your laundry.

It might be mold - try running bleach through it with nothing in it. Also, clean around the rim of it, there could be some mold there.

Since your washer is so new, I would recommend calling wherever you purchased it at and have them come check it. It should still be under warranty.
