we're having a big debate about it... i think he's hispanic or middle eastern

He's White

He came out in late 50's you know mainstream America wouldn't allow a minority alone with a white woman in those days even if was only on a bottle.

Mr. Clean is a genie that makes everything white. That's the way it was advertised years ago. I guess middle Eastern. . .

He's always looked white to me but, in the recent t.v. commercials, he's seemed to be more middle eastern...but not as dark.

I'd go with white...with a nice tan.

He was an advertising icon before we had much contact with the mid east or even Mexico...he is white.

I've seen pics of a professional impersonator of the cartoon, and he's played by a white dude.

Hmm, its hard to tell. I always thought he was white, but now that you mention Hispanic... he may be. I wish he would grow his hair out! Then i would have a better idea.
