Everything I read on the PS3 it blew Wii and 360 out of the water.
As a matter of fact 360 was not even really compared to PS3, almost like they just had a short sentence basically saying "360 sucks compared to PS3" (The only down side to PS3 is the price)
But yes PS3 dose have better Hardware, Sound, and Graphics. It is also way quieter then the 360 when it is on and running. As for games X-box dose have a ton of games just exclusive to 360
so we will have to see in future what the PS3 games will bring since 360 has had a head start on releasing games and the unit it's self.

This is not true. They are similar machines. The statements above have been made by ignorant, uninformed users. Here are the facts:
Capacity: Xbox360 has a 20 GB hard drive. PS3 has a 20GB or 60GB hard drive.
Hardware: I'm going to break this one down...
CPU - PS3 wins this one, in terms of power. The PS3 has one processor, but its a cell processor, which overall has more horsepower than the three processor setup of the 360. The 360 has been easier to develop for, so far, but that may change.
GPU(graphics) - 360 wins this one, the GPU is capable of doing more than the PS3's overall. However, the PS3 is capable of 1080p resolution.
RAM - 360 wins again, 512 MB vs 256 MB.
OS - For performance, the 360's OS is better. Its smaller, more efficient, and cleaner. However, the PS3 is using a form of Linux, which opens it up to open source modifications by 3rd party companies and users which may be a benefit.
Sound System - I actually don't know about this one, other than both are capable of 7.1 output. I had heard that the PS3 sound is better, but I can't speak much about this.
Games - Really it depends on what kind of game you like. Most games this generation will be coming out on both the PS3 and the XBox 360. There are exclusive titles to both, and its really arbitrary which ones are "better". Thats too much of a personal choice.

PS3 really has more effective exclusives already released and upcoming. PS3 is by far the more advanced. As far as games go, only time will tell. My bet will be PS3 all the way though
