I have an opinion about this. I love women, but I think they are most are emotional in their decision making. In most situations they would not be able to make the correct decision under certain circumstances like men would. Don't get me wrong some men are less capable. Women don't get offended because. I DON"T KNOW YOU PERSONALLY. Thank you.

For thousands of years, rule has come about from military conquest . . . so not too many female rulers.
We have just recently entered the 'elected ruler' age, so it will be a few hundred years before we have the historical data to compare ruling successes by gender.

History is full of Male rulers so we can't answer this question for at lest another 20 years...we need more female rulers and as of right now that's a popular trend in Europe.

Well, do some comparing.
What King was better than Queen Elizabeth 2.
What King was tougher than Queen Elizabeth 1.
What King was more disciplined than Victoria?
What King is remembered more than any of the above for the good work that he did?

I do not think there is evidence that supports either sex as being the more successful ruler.

Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Victoria were the most successful monarchs to lead England.
Margaret Thatcher was the most successful prime minister ever in Britain spending the longest time in office.
So it's not the case that men have been more succesful leaders in my country.

Oh, that can be too easily disputed. No female Neros, Caligulas, Pol Pots or the like. Too many countries are so quick to say "men rule, period" that there isn't even any background information to support your theory, if it is that. How can you compare a bushel wth a berry?

im gonna have to disagree. not just bc im a girl, but because i remember when i was in 9th grade, my history teacher was talking about this, and i remember him saying that during some ancien civilization, women were rulers and things ran smoother. wars and poverty were not an issue. sorry, i dont remember what civilization it was, but i know its true.
