I agree with your pervious answers,,it's been Hi-jacked by some crapware.
Occasionally that stuff roots itself into System Restore files,,and makes getting rid of it very difficult because it reloads itself from that location.
If that happens to be the case,,You'll need to Disable System Restore,,then Reboot.
Yes,,that erases all saved Restore Points.
But if they were in fact Infected,,,they were no use to you anyway.
Another possibility,,,SOME of those types of hijackers require a Specific Tool.
If SpyBot and Ad-Aware,etc wont remove it,,,
You'll have to search for the Specific name and find a Tool.
Coolwebsearch.exe /CWS was one example that required a specific Removal tool for quite a while,
CWS Shredder from Trend Micro.
As you can see,,,the Hi-Jack is TO a "security site".
Many,Many "anti-spyware" Sites ARE THEMSELVES Spyware,Hijackers,etc.
They hook folks who are looking around the 'net for HELP,Downloads, etc.
And they Also appear as those Windows Messenger POP-UPS,,,"alerting" you that your PC is infected.
Anyone who clicks the PopUp to see what it's about gets the Bug.
Yep,,It's CROOKED as hell.
And even Sneakier than that.
Point is,,Be CAREFUL while looking around for "Anti-Spyware/Virus/PopUp" stuff.
Good Luck

There is no question about it; your browser has been hijacked and you have two choices that you need to do ASAP.
1. Go to Norton site and run their free untivirus/antispyware program. It will take sometime and you need to wait until you get their report; then follow their instructions.
2. Call your ISP and have them guide you how to get rid of the bug, whatever it may be.
Another thing you could do if your system allows you is the following:
HOW TO DO A THOROUGH CLEAN UP (Windows XP)
While you are connected to the Internet do the following:
1. Click on tools ... Internet options. There you will see three buttons next to each other... "Delete Cookies" ... "Delete Files" and "Settings." Also, below the settings button you will see another one "Clear history."
2. Click on "settings" - go to "Edit" - Click on "select all" - Go to files, click delete and wait till all useless files are gone.
3. Go back and click on "delete cookies" and wait till all cookies are gone
4. Go back and click on "Delete files," put a check mark on the little white square shown on the small window that will open, click OK and wait for a little.
5. Go back and click on "Clear history", click “yes” and you are done.
6. Now do a check disk and a defrag, then restart your computer and see if the problem is resolved.
7. If the problem persists, get on the internet and look in the Yahoo search for the Tune-Up Utilities 2006 site; go to that site and download their free trial program, familiarize your self with it and use it to clean up your registry automatically. It is an excellent little program and does wonders with PC maintenance tasks along many other helpful and useful chores.
8. If all fails, take you PC to a reliable shop and have them fix to problem for you.
Hope this helps

You have probably been hijacked. Download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoft.com and AVG from grisoft.com if you do not have any antivirus and antispyware programs. Then boot your computer into Safe Mode by continuously tapping F8 while your computer is coming up. If you see the Windows flag you have gone too far and need to reboot again. When you get to safe mode lay mouse over generic icons till u see program names and double click. This takes longer but much more thorough scans.

Sounds like you have a browser hijack (a type of spyware) on your PC. You can try running a couple of good spyware cleaners like Ad-Aware and Skybot Seek and Detrsoy (both free at http://download.com) and see if that clears it.
If not, do a System Restore to a restore point from before the time the problem started.

my advice is to get mozzilia fire fox. its way faster and more reliable. im not spamming, i just really hate explorer and think you should use whatever other progreeam yuou can possible find. Internet explorer was desinged by mocrosoft, all they care about are viruses, so they do whatever they can to stop you from getting one. it may seem like a good idea, but any code altering is considered a virus to tehm when its not. get another broswer at any cost!!!

You have some malware installed on your PC. Try to run a utility that will detect and clean. Even Microsoft has one via software updates, although I don't know if it will remove this one.
