A room without books is like a body without a soul." - Cicero

I would value this book very highly indeed. It seems to be informative, beautiful and rare - all qualities prized by a man of reason. But I assume you want to know the base value of how much money it is worth.
I would say that a book like this should be valued at at least £70 ($130) and that you should take it to an expert to get it's true monetary value. In a specialist auction you could get a small fortune for it, at a garage sale maybe a few coins - it depends on the market. eBay may be worth considering but I am sure you can get a better price elsewhere.

"A book lying idle on a shelf is wasted ammunition. Like money, books must be kept in constant circulation. Lend and borrow to the maximum -- of both books and money! But especially books, for books represent infinitely more than money. A book is not only a friend, it makes friends for you. When you have possessed a book with mind and spirit, you are enriched. But when you pass it on you are enriched threefold." - Henry Miller
