You are like me. I got stretch marks kind of early in my first pregnancy, they got worse and I still have them to this day. They have faded, but still there. I didn't gain excessive weight either. Do the cocoa butter thing, but it really has more to do with the amount of elastic in your skin you are born with. My mother had 7 kids, no stretch marks. As I said, I got almost all of mine with my first child. I learned to deal with them. After my baby I'm carrying now (my last) is born, I'm going to look into a tummy tuck.

Focus on growing your baby and deal with the cosmetics of it all later. Good luck!

I'm not going to lie. If you've got them already, you probably will get more as your tummy (and maybe bottom and breasts) grow even larger. It's just your body type and there's not much you can do about it. Keep your body moisturized for skin elasticity and use cocoa butter if you are one of those that believe it will work. After that, sit back and just enjoy the pregancy. I didn't getmany stretch marks with my kids, but I did get these dark purple welts (I guess they were a type of stretch mark) on my lower back, by my rear end. About 5 months post-partum, they went away. So, yours may fade and/or go away too!

Don't stress babe; the baby is worth it.

you have stretch marks already and you are only 5 m. Man you get your biggest the last 2 months. I am afraid they are going to get bigger because your stomach is going to stretch a lot more. Start using coco butter on your stomach. It is sad but some women get big marks and some do not. Nothing you can do about it. It's just the way it is.

They will probably get worse if youre only five months right now. You shouldnt stress about it because there isnt a single thing you can do about it. It happens to the best of us! I thought I was scott free and in my eight month they appeared! It sucks but well you get used to it I'm pregnant with my second and I'm bigger then i was with my first..my belly is huge and my stretch marks are stretching it sucks but well, Im not gonna worry about it because there is nothing i can do...try not to stress

Honestly...yes, they will probably get worse, as you're obviously going to get bigger with 4 months to go. Get some cocoa butter and rub it on your stomach every morning and night...it will help. But the damage may already be done.
Stop stressing over it....it's perfectly normal to have stretch marks, and stressing won't be good for the baby.

Stretch marks are really hard to determine the faster you grow the worse they will be. I suggest you start using coco butter now b/c you always grow faster in your 7th and 8th month. There are creams you can buy for after that will lighten them or tanning in a tanning bed also helps.

I have a good number of stretch marks and that i placed cocoa butter on two times an afternoon. So i wager if you're meant to have them then your gonna get them no count number what you do. i'm 37 weeks. Watch what you eat attempt to stroll and drink a good number of water. solid success.

yes they will get bigger, however you can star using a stretch marks lotion and use it every day, I bought the cocoa butter one and i have been using it since i knew i was pregnant, I am 7 months now and i have just one or two, so i apply the lotion on those vigorously, dont stress out, it is part of being pregnant.

if your skin started ripping off now I guess by the time you are 9 they will be worse. Keep aplying a LOT of moisturizing lotion (or butters, they are heavier and creamier) try cocoa butter or almond oil...but keep on putting them on, if you don't you will never get rid of them. I understand..I'm very close to 7 months and this morning I saw 4 ,1 inch long stretch marks very close to my pubic area....I'm freaking out about it....

Use Cocoa Butter. Over time the stretch marks may not be that noticeable.
