Sitting on my mum's lap watching Stars Wars at the cinema when i must of been about 3. All i can remember is the Star Destroyer roaring overhead at the beginning.

I use this when anyone asks for proof that I am a geek.

I remember having a conversation with my brother through the bars of my cot when I was about a year old, he was 2 and a half. I can remember everything both of us said to each other. The strange thing is that he could hardly talk and I certainly couldn't, yet the memory is very vivid.

My first memory is of going to school or the first day. I was just 4 years old and had to walk about 2 miles as there was no transport back then. Our school was in the country and it took myself and my sisters about 3/4 of an hour to walk. I remember having a tin pandy tied to my schoolbag. Delph cups were only for adults.

I have a memory when I was 2 1/2 years old. I was at my grandmother's house and understood that if I lifted the little latch on the screen door I could go outside which I did several times. So, I watched my uncle take it off and put it on higher then I was tall so that I couldn't get out, however, I went and got a broom and lifted the latch and got out. I clearly remember this. I guess I was a little scamp.

I was a baby, maybe 6-8 months, I was sitting in a walker w/wheels. My aunts were eating fresh baked donuts in the living
room. The donuts were on the coffee table,,,I wanted what they
were eating. But I had no teeth. I scooted over to grab one, they laughed said ,"No Shyann, you can't have any of these", and I
started crying....and I think it was my mom who picked me up &
held me, and gave me a sucker I think to taste. I remember seeing my little fingers reaching out for those donuts! That memory just happened to come to me years ago. But that is my
first "memory", as a baby.

My first memory is the smell of garlic cooking in olive oil. We lived above an Italian restaurant until I was a year old.

When I was learning to talk, I didn't do much talking, but one day I was looking through one of my moms art books and noticed they were missing body parts, specifically. I asked her where they were, and she explained it. I went off on a speech about how when I grew up I would find their missing body parts.

I still want to be an archaeologist, some. I was almost two, not quite.

Summer holidays when I was 3. I remember the red stairs runner in the hotel where we stayed, and also when my parents left me and my baby bro with a befriended elderly couple on the beach and went swimming - I saw them getting smaller and smaller and then they disappeared... I was really anxious. They didn't diasppaer forever though! ;-)
